Annette MacDougall

Chief Executive Officer

Annette is a Director and Chief Executive Officer of ETS Ltd.  She has extensive international marketing experience, predominately in the high technology industry with technology start-ups and with global multinationals.

Prior to joining ETS Ltd., Annette spent several years in the Asia Pacific Rim working for technology-related firms.  At Bay Networks Singapore she developed  marketing programs for the Asia Pacific Rim region including product launches in each of the countries, product marketing programs, channel and distribution partner programs, and public and government relations programs.  After Nortel Networks acquired Bay Networks for $7 billion in 1998, Annette spear headed up Nortel’s Global Analyst Relations operation. 

Following Nortel, Annette entered the private equity field, serving as a strategic marketing consultant for High Tech Millennia Venture Capital’s High Tech Associates operation in Singapore.  At High Tech Associates she assisted venture-backed start-up companies with business planning, marketing, industry influencer programs, public relations, IPO strategy, and investor relations.

Annette later served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development (Asia Pacific) for Mirror Image and was responsible for repositioning the early-stage firm and launching it into the market place.

Annette holds a BA in Business Management from Napier University and an MSc in International Marketing from The University of Strathclyde. She also has a Diploma in Marketing Management from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK.

Ivan Andonovic

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Ivan Andonovic is a Director, co-founder, and Chief Technology Officer of ETS Ltd.  Ivan is a recognized data communications expert serving as the ITI Techmedia Professor of Broadband Networks at the University of Strathclyde.  In his professorship at Strathclyde, Ivan instigated the four year, £4.75 million research effort that resulted in the concept for ETS’s platform.

Ivan has extensive experience in advanced broadband networks and was awarded a two year Royal Society Industrial Fellowship in collaboration with BT Labs to investigate novel approaches to networking.  Ivan has been principal investigator on seven EPSRC funded projects in advanced communications and has edited two books and authored/co-authored five chapters in books and over 230 journal and conference papers.  Ivan was also a member of the Scottish Enterprise establishment team for the Intermediary Technology Institutes (ITIs), a group of organizations created to bridge the gap between basic research and company growth.

Prior to co-founding ETS Ltd., Ivan was co-founder, Director, and Chief Technology Officer of Kamelian Ltd., a high growth technology start-up that designed and manufactured leading edge optical semi-conductor devices. Kamelian secured almost $40M in private equity investment during its start-up phase and now trades as Amphotonics.

Ivan holds a BSc and PhD from The University of Strathclyde.

Malachy Devlin

Senior VP of Product Management

Malachy Devlin is the Senior Vice President of Product Management at ETS. As the head of all technical operations at ETS, Malachy is responsible for ensuring effective delivery, design and innovation of top-rated solutions to a fast-growing international customer base. Malachy also current serves as the working group chairperson for the VITA organization as well a Board member of the OpenFPGA organization. Malachy is a successful entrepreneur with over two decades of technical, management and Board experience in the embedded defense, signal processing, and high performance computing markets.

Malachy was the co-founder, Chief Technology Officer, and Senior Vice President of Nallatech, the domain expert in FPGA computing. He also has held positions at the National Engineering Laboratory, Telia and Raytheon Corporation.

Malachy holds BSc degree and a PhD in Electronics from The University of Strathclyde. He also holds a MSc in Corporate Leadership from Napier University.
